Retro Editing & Shoot

After capturing some video footages with my DSRL camera I thought it will be a nice idea to add a retro look to this video so I started to make a retro color correction in Adobe Premiere. Here is the result.

Sigma 10-20mm Video Test

I tested my new wide angle lens the Sigma 10-20mm and I shoot some video footage. I edited the pictures and added a color correction in Premiere CS5. In somehow you can call it a cinematic color correction. Here it is!

I just bought a new lens from Sigma the Sigma 10-20mm f4.0-5,6 an wideangle lens.I directly start taking some pictures to test it out. Here ist the result.

Second Portfolio Website

I thought about getting a new portfolio website with a new identity, new name, new domain and everything but people told me how they like my allstar-design.de website so I decided to keep them both and let them work in parallel. Now people can decide which website they will like to visit. The portfolio is almost identical on both websites. So enjoy it.

Game Microsite

We developed a new microsite for the new PS2 game called “PES 2012″ a soccer game from Konami wich is also known in Asia under the name “Winning Eleven 2012″. A few months ago I took a few pictures at night in the city of Berlin. Today I thought it might be interesting if I add some filters to those pictures and post the result. I tried out some Actions Scripts in Adobe Photosho and I was surprised by the results. Here it is.

Quantum Graphix Logo

Quantum Graphix is my new personal website I’m working on right now. The website will include a part of my work and especially the new stuff wich is based on photography and artwork design. I wanted to have a very simple and modest design for the logo because the website will be also minimalist.

Sunny Day Shoot

I was thinking about to record some footages with my new Canon EOS 550d and I waited for a sunny day and yesterday was the perfect weather for that. I used the standard kit, the Canon Lens EF S 18 55 mm and I added a Circ-Polarizing filter in front of the lens. I also did a color correction in Adobe Premiere. Here is the result.

New Equipment – Canon EOS 550d

The new Canon EOS 550d is from now on part of our daily equipment. We have chosen this camera because it’s ofering quality pictures and full HD videos for low money! The video quality is even the same as the more expensive Canon 7d.

The Canon EOS 550D is an 18.0 megapixel digital single-lens reflex camera, announced by Canon on February 8, 2010. It was made available starting February 24, 2010 and to US dealers starting early March. It is known as the EOS Kiss X4 in Japan, and as the EOS Rebel T2i in North America.It continues the entry level digital SLR camera series (known as Rebel line in North America) of Canon, and is currently placed by Canon as the successor model to the EOS 500D.
